The pressure sensor measures the hydraulic pressure in the accumulator. Based on this value, the SMG enables and disables the hydraulic pump to fill up pressure. This is a brand-new original part.
Transmission Speed Sensor BMW E60 M5 E63 M6 SMG III
This sensor provides the speed signal of the transmission input shaft. The speed signal is required by the SMG control unit to control the transmission system, adjusting properly the shaft speeds before engaging and disengaging the different gears.
VANOS Timing Solenoid Valve BMW E60 M5 E63 M6
New solenoid valve for M5 / M6 VANOS system. There are 4 of these valves on the VANOS unit.
- Applies to SMG and manual gearbox
- Comes with a new o-ring for mounting.
Pump Relay BMW E60 M5 E63 M6 SMG III
The pump relay is responsible to turn on / off the hydraulic pump of the SMG system. A broken relay causes the pump to fail priming. Without hydraulic pressure, the system cannot engage the clutch or change gears.
