Time to solve your SMG problems once and for all! With the Relocation Kit you can relocate the SMG hydraulic unit – away from the engine to the passenger side's 'drug bin'.
This offer includes a set of 4 hydraulic lines with each 190cm length. The lines are made-in-Germany from braided stainless steel, fitted with the proper connections for plug & play installation. You can find the additional wiring harness extension here.
Pressure Accumulator BMW E46 M3 SMG II
Our refurbished pressure accumulators are equipped with a filling valve and freshly filled with nitrogen gas.
The accumulator is responsible to store the pressure of the SMG system for later access by the actuators. The piston type accumulator has two cells: one cell storing the hydraulic fluid and one cell containing a gas to create counterpressure. Both cells are separated by a moving piston. A broken accumulator causes the pump to prime permanently.
